2xko beta

The 2xko beta has been a lively start for the community. Two weeks in, we’ve seen consistent play sessions, plenty of duo experimentation, and a steady stream of player-run tournaments. Vi and Blitzcrank quickly became the talk of the 2xko beta, with clips and combo labs filling timelines and streams.

Closed Beta Learnings

During the 2xko beta period, the team scaled online systems, tuned matchmaking, and resolved early issues. Stability has held up, and the feel of online sets continues to improve. With those foundations in place, the focus shifts to Early Access.

Early Access Begins October 7

Closed Beta wraps on October 7, and 2xko beta transitions into Early Access the same day with a full-season experience and features like combo trials. From Early Access onward, there are no more content resets—anything you unlock after October 7 is yours to keep.

Seasons

Early Access kicks off Season 0. The 2026 calendar targets five seasons, each bringing a new champ, Ranked reset, Battle Pass updates, and gameplay adjustments. Expect the tenth champion to arrive as Early Access goes live. Watch for a gameplay reveal and a dev update soon.

What to Expect Each Season

Community Tournaments

To spotlight competitive grassroots events, 22 community-run tournaments are being supported through the rest of 2025. Expect pot bonuses and an extra prize for duos that take first. More details will be posted as the 2xko beta calendar fills out.
